Persona 3 Reload Philippine launch event recap: A treat for Pinoy Persona fans

Here's what went down during the memorable Persona 3 Reload PH launch event!

Pinoy fans celebrated Persona 3 Reload release day in a launch event spearheaded by Atlus SEA. Held at TNC High Grounds Cafe,  the Philippine P3R launch took off in good spirits with its eager attendees and fun activities.

The spacious venue was decorated with posters and standees of Persona 3 Reload characters and key artworks, further bolstered with lighting that made the place feel like Tartarus in-game. There were free-flowing refreshments and comfortable PC gaming stations for attendees to experience the game firsthand.

The Persona 3 Reload launch event was divided into three batches – all with fun activities and opportunities to win launch party-exclusive prizes. Local influencers Myrtle Sarrosa, GLOCO Gaming, Een Mercado, Kang Dupet, and Kristian PH graced the event as special guests.

The event activities included a P3R gameplay against one of the special guests. The session we had attended featured GLOCO Gaming as the person to beat in this activity. The first one who defeats the border level boss the fastest in Tartarus would win a set of P3R acrylic [desk] standees. Attendee Axel won this activity against GLOCO and two other fans, beating the border-level boss in 5 minutes and 35 seconds.

There was also a trivia quiz game where everyone could grab the opportunity to win a P3R jacket; as well as a raffle draw to win a mouse, a headset, and an XBOX Series S. Fans also got to participate in a photo booth featuring the standee of the P3R protagonist, taking home printed photograph copies as souvenirs. A tote bag and a SEES red armband were also included as the event-exclusive giveaways.

The P3R launch party was a wonderful experience for the growing Persona fan community in the country. We hope that more similar game launch events happen in the locality in the foreseeable future!
