In what is no doubt a surprise move, Overwatch 2 just unveiled a new trailer for an upcoming Cowboy Bebop collab.

Yes, you read that right, Overwatch is teaming up with the legendary 90s anime, and its announcement came courtesy of an impressive new trailer that essentially recreates the show’s iconic opening but with Overwatch 2 characters.

What’s more, the opening also teases some of the new Bebop-inspired skins for the likes of Cole Cassidy and more.

Even if you’re not an Overwatch 2 player (or if you’re a lapsed Overwatch fan), this Cowboy Bebop collab trailer is a must-see. Check it out here:

It’s fair to say that Overwatch 2 has had a rough time over the past months, with big changes being made to its classes which haven’t been all that well received. Thus, this new collab comes at a perfect time to hook people back in. After all, Cowboy Bebop is easily one of the most beloved anime ever.

For now, there’s no info yet on this collab aside from its March 12 start date, though it’s likely that more details, including all the new skins, will be shared on Overwatch’s official channels in the coming days.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Overwatch 2 had an anime collab as the One-Punch Man crossover from last year has that distinction.
