Metaphor: ReFantazio release date and Collector’s Edition revealed

Metaphor: ReFantazio is coming to consoles and PC this October.

As promised, Atlus held a Metaphor: ReFantazio showcase earlier today, and it revealed the game’s Collector’s Edition and release date.

This highly anticipated new JRPG from the creators of Persona will be released on consoles and PC on October 11, meaning fans will only need to wait half a year before this game launches.

Along with the release date, the Metaphor: ReFantazio Atlus Brand 35th Digital Anniversary Edition was also revealed, and it serves as the Collector’s Edition for the game. As its name implies though, it’s also a package that celebrates ATLUS’ history. To be exact, the Collector’s Edition will come with DLCs with Persona outfits, as well as a special ATLUS battel BGMs.

This special edition of the game will come in two version, the first being the Physical Edition (to be released on PS5 and PS4 in Asia) which features:

  • Metaphor: ReFantazio Base Game (Physical Edition)
  • Premium Artbook
  • Special Soundtrack
  • Atlus Brand 35th History Book
  • Atlus Brand 35th All Time Best
  • Exclusive Original Acrylic Stand

Meanwhile, here are the contents of the Digital Edition (to be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC):

Along with the Collector’s Edition, ATLUS also announced the pre-order bonuses for the game which include:

  • Archetype EXP Chest Set – A set containing items that will help boost the growth of your Archetypes.
    • 10x Hero’s Incenses (Increases Archetype Experiences by 100)
    • 5x Hero’s Fruits (Increases Archetype Experiences by 500)
  • Adventurer’s Journey Pack – A set that provides you with a trove of resources to kick-start your adventure, including in-game currency and battle items.
    • 30,000 Reeve (In-game currency)
    • 5x Expensive Medicines (Restores 200 HP to one ally)
    • 5x Revival Medicines (Revives an ally)
    • 3x Magical Breads (Gradually recover MP while in dungeon)
