Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is coming to cinemas in the Philippines this May

The next Mission Impossible movie promises more incredible stunts!

It has been nearly two years since the last movie, and now, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set to be released in cinemas in the Philippines soon.

The last Mission: Impossible movie released was Dead Reckoning Part One in July 2023. As the title implies, Dead Reckoning was only the first part, meaning the story isn’t complete yet. Despite the title not having Part 2, The Final Reckoning serves as Part 2 of the previous film. As such, fans who haven’t watched Dead Reckoning yet will want to see it before going to the cinemas for this film.

In the Philippines, The Final Reckoning will be released on May 17, and to further hype it up, Paramount Pictures shared new character posters for the movie’s cast. Check them all out here:

If that’s not enough to get you excited, Paramount also released the film’s official trailer a few weeks ago, and it features a glimpse at Tom Cruise’s next insane stunt.

Aside from serving as Part Two of Dead Reckoning, there have been discussions about this movie being Tom Cruise’s last as Ethan Hunt, or at least his last as the protagonist. Whether or not this is indeed Cruise’s last big role in the Mission: Impossible franchise, the film’s action set pieces should make it well worth watching in cinemas.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning opens in cinemas in the Philippines on May 17, 2025.
