The SEGA Stars crossover event is now live on Sonic Rumble
This collab brings characters from three SEGA franchises.

SEGA recently announced that the SEGA Stars crossover event is now live on Sonic Rumble, at least in regions eligible for the game’s Pre-Launch.
This new collab is live now on the pre-launch version until May 7 – the day before the game’s official launch. As for what to expect, players will be able to get an array of new content, though the highlight is no doubt the collection of characters from popular SEGA franchises, including Super Monkey Ball, Altered Beast, and Fantasy Zone.
For a better idea of what to expect (along with some teasers at other upcoming crossovers), check out the crossover event reveal video here:
The video above shows off the various skins that are part of the collab event. These include Werewolf, a skin based on the protagonist of SEGA’s Altered Beast. For those who pick up the Premium Event Pass, they will also get the Weredragon from Altered Beast and Opa-Opa from Fantasy Zone.
If you ask us though, the best skins in the SEGA Stars Sonic Rumble event are the AiAi and MeeMee skins from the Super Monkey Ball. These are available via teh game’s Ring Shop. There, players can also get the Upa-Upa and Werebear skins.
Sonic Rumble will launch on iOS, Android, and PC (via Steam and Google Play Games) on May 8, 2025.
