Ubisoft recently announced its partnership with Behaviour Interactive for an Assassin’s Creed Shadows x Dead by Daylight collaboration.
While there have been many Dead by Daylight collabs over the years, including the recent Junji Ito crossover, this latest one is a bit different. That’s because, instead of Dead by Daylight players getting Assassin’s Creed-themed items in the game, this collab is the opposite. Specifically, AC Shadows players can enjoy a new quest that will reward special skins for Yasuke and Naoe.

This quest will be available after players unlock Yasuke. In the quest, Naoe becomes suspicious of a strange presence attacking the people of Harima. Thus, she decides to uncover the truth behind this mystery, though they’ll soon come across a powerful, otherworldly threat.
After completing this free quest, players will get exclusive rewards that they can use to personalize their Assassins with Dead by Daylight-inspired packs. These include special outfits, weapons, and more.
Given that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set in feudal Japan, it’s no surprise that the new Dead by Daylight skins are based on Japanese folklore, with Yasuke’s skin turning him into a fearsome Oni while Naoe’s skin has a ghostly theme.
