Jack Black is back as Officer Dick in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4

Jack Black is truly a video game legend.

With the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 just weeks away, Activision announced that Jack Black is back in the remake as Officer Dick.

It’s fair to say that, at this point, there’s no denying that Jack Black is a video game legend. After all, not only has he played iconic characters in recent video game movies (Bowser in the Super Mario Bros. movie and Steve in the Minecraft live-action film), but he’s also been involved in various games, including the cult hit Brutal Legend.

For those who played Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, they might be familiar with Jack Black’s character, Officer Dick. For those unfamiliar though, Officer Dick is a secret skater in the original Pro Skater games.

In the upcoming remake, Activision has brought back Officer Dick, this time in HD. Check out his new look here:

Interestingly, Officer Dick has a story. In his youth, Richard Ennvee was mocked by other skaters and called a “poser.” Because of this experience, Richard desired revenge, and he soon became Officer Dick. This is perfect for him as officers are what many skaters fear the most.

As a bonus, the Pro Skater 3+4 remaster will also include Officer Dick’s UK counterpart, Constable Richard. The Constable will appear in the game’s London level, and he is also voiced by Jack Black. Even though he’s across the pond, Constable Richard is just as hard-nosed as his American counterpart.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be releasedon July 11 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
