Following the big 2.0 update, SEGA and Two Point Studios announced a range of free content for Two Point Museum, including MIA Memorial Exhibits and new items.
To be exact, the new free update for Two Point Museum is titled MIA Exhibits & Items Update, and it is out now. The highlight of this update is no doubt the addition of the MIA Memorial Exhibits themselves. As its name implies, these exhibits are there to honor staff members who have gone missing in action (in Expeditions) via a memorial item to immortalize their contribution to the museum. These exhibits range from a small plaque to a huge statue, and they are engraved with the staff member’s name, years of service, and where they went MIA.
Aside from the exhibits themselves, the update also adds tweaks to the randomization engines that power Expeditions. With this, players can see each exhibit across a set number of expeditions, meaning players won’t have to repeat the same expeditions over and over again to complete their collection.
The update will also add Gift Shop and Cafeteria poster wall items, six new staff traits, increased staff XP, the workshop ability to create multiples of cargo items, and various small tweaks.
Along with the newly-released update, players can also look forward to the free Summer Update that will be released soon. This update will feature a new Point of Interest, Sunkiss Creek, added to the Bone Belt. This will also add new fish exhibits: Setsail Fish, Lolliflopper Fish and Cunning Skink.
Finally, players should also watch out for the free addition of The Final Museum, the Arctic-themed finale set in the Pointy Mountains. This will be released at the end of June, and it promises to be the ultimate test of a player’s Two Point Museum skills as it will feature various challenges, including reduced guest intake and quests only arriving via plane.
Two Point Museum is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
