Path of Exile: Keepers of the Flame is getting an official reveal on October 23

This expansion will be released for free at the end of the month!

Months after Secrets of the Atlas’ launch, Grinding Gear Games is now set to reveal more details about Path of Exile: Keepers of the Flame.

While Path of Exile 2 is the newer game, the OG PoE is still very much alive and kicking. After all, following PoE 2’s early access launch back in December last year, the first game has continued to get big updates. As mentioned above, Secrets of the Atlas was the game’s last big expansion, and it added a big endgame storyline involving the Threads of Consciousness.

Before Secrets of the Atlas, the last expansion was launched in July 2024, with the one-year gap likely due to the early access release of PoE 2. Now, it seems that Grinding Gear Games is going back to the shorter expansion cycles, as Keepers of the Flame launches later this month.

The new expansion was announced with this teaser:

More details about Path of Exile’s latest expansion will be shared on October 24, 8:00 AM NZT / October 24, 3 AM PHT / October 23, 12:00 PM PDT. The full content reveal will be streamed live on the Path of Exile Twitch channel.

Even though the full reveal hasn’t happened yet, Grinding Gear Games already confirmed that the upcoming expansion will available for free on PC and Consoles on October 31.
