The brand new OPPO Reno15 Series 5G and its AI LinkBoost 3.0 technology is now available via Smart Postpaid. In terms of functionality, AI LinkBoost 3.0 continuously monitors signal strength, congestion, and usage demands in real time, adapting automatically when conditions change. It prioritizes latency-sensitive tasks like gaming, calls, and live streaming, reallocating resources without any input from the user.

To validate those claims, OPPO and Smart conducted tests under consistently poor network environments — including crowded locations and extreme weak signal scenarios where RSRP levels dropped as low as -120 dBm. Under the most demanding conditions of -110 dBm RSRP and SNR below -5 dB, the Reno15 Series still delivered downlink speeds of up to 23.02 Mbps and uplink speeds reaching 6.18 Mbps.

The series was also put through real-world social media scenarios. Testing at the Quezon City Circle Underpass — where RSRP dropped to -105 dBm — showed that the Reno15 F 5G could upload video files of up to 320 MB to Instagram and TikTok with an average sending time of 81.14 seconds, maintaining stable throughput even in a dense, congested environment. In remote coastal and mountainous locations, AI LinkBoost 3.0 adapted in real time to sustain TikTok live streams and social media uploads as signal conditions fluctuated.

For mobile gamers, Smart’s testing in congested conditions found the Reno15 Series achieved an average latency of 70.74 ms in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with minimal total lag averaging 39.72 seconds — outperforming comparable devices tested under the same conditions. The system also intelligently managed data traffic during multitasking scenarios like gaming while streaming video simultaneously.
