PlayStation taps Kim Chaewon of LE SSERAFIM for ‘Love of Play’ campaign

PlayStation also launched its Festive New Year Sale 2026 alongside the Chaewon collab.

PlayStation recently kicked off its 2026 “Love of Play” campaign, featuring Kim Chaewon of the popular K-pop group LE SSERAFIM.

This new campaign consists of four videos that celebrate the Lunar New Year, with each video showing scenarios of loved ones spending time together while playing PlayStation titles. The first episode “Family” is out now, and you can watch it here:

Aside from starring in the video series, Chaewon is also the face of the new PlayStation Festive New Year Sale 2026 in Asia. This promo will run from February 6 to 19 in participating retailers (while supplies last), and it will feature discounts on PS5 consoles, peripherals, and games.

The offers include:

  • PS5 Consoles: PHP 2,800 off
  • PlayStation VR2: PHP 5,600 off
  • Discounts on PS5 titles, including Ghost of Yotei, Death Stranding 2: On The BeachAstro BotMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, and God of War Ragnarök

Finally, PlayStation announced a new collaboration with the Korean lifestyle brand, Wiggle Wiggle. This collab is for a Love of Play merchandise lineup, featuring Washable Home Slippers, Acrylic Clips (2 pieces set), and Acrylic Coasters that feature PlayStation-inspired designs.

This limited-edition set will be up for grabs, and players who are interested can get a chance to win a set by joining select PlayStation Asia social activities during the campaign. The promotion is available in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
