Ragnarok Origin Classic pre-regsitration is now open in East and Southeast Asia

Filipino Ragnarok fans can pre-register now!

After its debut at Ragnarok Festa 2025, Gravity announced that Ragnarok Origin Classic pre-registration is now open in various Asian territories.

To be exact, pre-registration for the game is available now in Southeast Asia (including the Philippines, as well as in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Korea.

Players who pre-register will get exclusive rewards upon the game’s launch. These include the Headwear “Mini Majestic Goat” and the Mount “Bunny Group.” Everyone who pre-registers will get these, but for players who can gather a full team of 5, they can claim the headwear “Mini Angel Wings,” along with a raffle entry for Gravity’s iPhone 17 Pro giveaway.

One of the biggest highlights of Ragnarok Origin Classic is the new monthly-pass version, which promises to preserve the core appeal of the original while streamlining progression paths, removing outfit stats, and adding fair competitive gameplay for everyone.

Along with pre-registration, Gravity shared that the game will be adjusted and optimized in future tests with these parameters:

  • Monthly Pass Only, spending restricted: The game will feature a weekly limit where purchases will be restricted, narrowing the gap between normal players and paying players. This should make the game more F2P-friendly instead of being more pay-to-win.
  • Suit up light, fun intact: RO Classic promises to cut down on repetitive grind and have a reinfed the economy system so growth becomes more dependent on strategy and exploration.
  • Adventure without borders: Players across Asia will be together on the same server, to break regional barriers.
  • Absolutely Fair PvP, skill meets friendship: Focusing on job balance and teamwork, with jobs unlocked only up to Trans.
  • Effortless return, instant immersion: A more streamlined experience to lead players straight to the most classic and core gameplay.

The game’s full launch is still quite some time away, and as such, teh RO team is inviting players participating in tests to share their feedback. This can be done via the ROO Roast special event on Facebook.

Finally, fans are invited to join the game’s official Discord, as well as follow the Ragnarok Online Classic pages on Facebook and YouTube.
