With the game’s release just days away, Capcom shared more details on the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem launch event that’s happening in Jakarta.
This is a big event as it will happen across two days: February 28 and March 1. Specifically, the launch in Jakarta will happen at the Mini Atrium (LG) of Gandaria City Mall. There, fans can enjoy various booth activities, along with stage programs featuring notable local cosplayers and creators.
One of the biggest highlights of the event is the array of dedicated demo kiosks where attendees can try out the newest Resident Evil game. By completing the session, players can get a Resident Evil Requiem Sticker Set.
For something a bit more involved, attendees can also participate in the Zombie Hunting Ground. Here, visitors can take out zombies in a themed fun shooting range (without real firearms). By participating, fans can receive the following prizes based on their score:
- Umbrella Corporation Enamel Pin
- Raccoon City Welcome Sign Acrylic Keychain
- Resident Evil Requiem Edition Lanyard
Other highlights of the launch include the Raccoon City Photo Spot. Here, visitors can take photos in an area that’s based on the iconic Racoon City. Attendees are encouraged to share their photo on social media with the event hashtag #RE9LaunchJakarta2026 while tagging the Capcom SEA channel. Doing so will give fans a Resident Evil Requiem Sticker Set.
There will also be an on-site vote where fans will be asked their most memorable Resident Evil protagonist. Plus, a wide array of merch will be on sale.
As for the activities, the event’s stage will host a varied program, featuring let’s plays and a meet & greet with popular cosplayer, Larissa Rochefort. There will also be a Resident Evil Series Cosplay Walk where cosplayers are invited to bring RE characters to life on-stage. Cosplayers who are interested must pre-register here.
