Granblue Fantasy is finally available worldwide on PC via Steam

Cygames has a special giveaway to celebrate the game's Steam launch!

After its announcement back in December, the original Granblue Fantasy is finally available on PC via Steam globally.

While Cygames has released the big Granblue Fantasy spin-offs (Versus, Versus: Rising, and Relink) globally, the game that started it all has continued to be Japan-exclusive – until today. The OG Granblue Fantasy has been released on Steam today, March 10. With this, fans of Versus and Relink can finally experience the original title and know why it is a landmark mobile RPG.

The PC version of the game is playable in a 16:9 interface for the first time. While the core of the game is still vertical (as it’s originally a mobile title), the PC version’s wider aspect ratio gives players more info and options during gameplay. Plus, the Steam edition comes in English and Japanese language options.

Note that, while the game is said to be available globally, some regions won’t be able to access the Steam version, including players in Japan. What’s more, players won’t be able to use their existing Granblue Fantasy accounts on the Steam version.

To celebrate the game’s PC launch, players can enter a launch celebration giveaway by Cygames, where a lucky fan will get a Steam Deck OLED, while 10 more fans will get an Acrylic Keychain Set (including keychains of Wilnas, Wamdus, Galleon, Ewiyar, Lu Woh, and Fediel).

This giveaway is available from March 10 to March 24 at 4 PM PH time.

Here’s how you can join the giveaway:

  1. Follow the Cygames official English X account (@Cygames_EN).
  2. Before the entry period ends, like and repost the relevant X giveaway post from our official English X account.
