Alongside the Robot Phone, HONOR unveiled the brand-new Magic V6 flagship foldable at Mobile World Congress 2026.
While the Robot Phone is a vision of the future for HONOR, the Magic V6 is a device that’s made for the present, though it still packs the latest, cutting-edge tech innovations, especially when it comes to durability and performance. Plus, the Magic V6 is a phone that packs interesting new AI tech.
For starters, let’s talk about the phone’s design. The Magic V6 has an ultra-thin 8.75mm closed profile, making it one of the thinnest foldables ever. It also features an even more advanced hinge architecture. Specifically, the phone has a 2800MPa HONOR Super Steel Hinge, built with a special type of steel that, according to HONOR, is recognized as the strongest special steel ever introduced in the commercial sector.
This is complemented by the fact that the newest foldable is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance. While many phones have high water/dust resistance ratings, most foldables are exceptions. That is not the case with this new HONOR device, as it has top-notch ingress protection, impressive, given its thin and light design.
What’s more, HONOR’s partnership with ATL means the Magic V6 gets a fifth-generation silicon-carbon material battery. What this means is that the phone’s battery is much slimmer than other devices, as it has a silicon content of 25% (higher density). As such, despite the phone’s slim frame, the Magic V6 packs a large 6,660mAh battery, which should enable all-day use.
Speaking of battery, at MWC 2026, HONOR also showcased its HONOR Silicon-carbon Blade Battery, featuring an even higher 32% silicon content and 900+ Wh/L. With this, future HONOR foldables will potentially get 7,000mAh batteries.
As for performance, the Magic V6 won’t disappoint, as it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with advanced vapor chamber cooling for great gaming and productivity performance.
Then, we have the display. The Magic V6 has dual LTPO 2.0 screens, which measure 6.52 inches externally and 7.95 inches when unfolded. These screens also have up to 120Hz refresh rates, with peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits and 5,000 nits, respectively. Plus, the inner display features ultra-thin flexible glass with SGS Minimized Crease Certification, meaning it’s much flatter than previous generation foldable screens, all while being sturdy.
To top it all off, the Magic V6 has AI-enhanced productivity features, promising a more optimized multitasking and content creation experience for users. And yes, as with previous HONOR devices, this phone is designed to seamlessly work alongside Apple’s ecosystem.

The HONOR Magic V6 will be available in select regions in the second half of 2026. More details, including price and availability info, will be shared soon.
