After its recent global unveiling the brand new Xiaomi 17 Series is now available for pre-order in the Philippines. The Leica-co-engineered flagship smartphone combo comes complete with upgraded cameras, new display technology, and the latest Snapdragon processor.
The lineup consists of the Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, both built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and running Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Each model features a triple Leica camera system, OLED displays with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness and 1–120Hz LTPO refresh rates, and the new Xiaomi Surge Battery with 16% silicon content for improved energy density.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the more powerful of the two, headlined by a 1-inch LOFIC main camera sensor and a world-first Leica 200MP telephoto with 75–100mm mechanical optical zoom that stretches to a 400mm equivalent with AI assistance. It supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision and ACES Log video recording on both its main and telephoto cameras — a capability previously limited to dedicated cinema cameras. The Ultra measures 8.29mm thick, weighs 218.4g, and packs a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge.
The Xiaomi 17, meanwhile, is the slimmer option at 8.06mm and 191g, built around the Light Fusion 950 main sensor paired with a Leica 60mm floating telephoto offering 5x optical-level zoom, 10cm macro, and 20x AI Ultra Zoom. Its 6.3-inch OLED display sits alongside a 6,330mAh battery with 100W wired charging — actually larger in capacity than the Ultra. Both models carry IP68 dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, and ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensors.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra comes in three color options: Black, White, Starlit Green, with 512GB storage variants. It will be available for an SRP of P99,999, with a special online preorder price of P84,999 when you purchase from the official Xiaomi store on Shopee. Preorders will come with a free Xiaomi Watch 5 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography Kit.
Xiaomi 17 comes in four color options: Black, Venture Green, Alpine Pink, Ice Blue, with 256GB and 512GB storage variants. The 512GB variant will retail for an SRP of P55,999, with a special online preorder price of P53,999, while the 256GB variant will retail for an SRP of P53,599 and a special preorder price of P49,999. Preorders will come with a Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm.
