Netflix invites Filipino celebrities on a One Piece-themed adventure in Manila

You can watch their adventure in full right now on Netflix PH's official pages.

To further promote the new One Piece live-action season, Netflix Philippines invited popular Filipino celebrities to go on a One Piece-themed adventure in Manila, where they participated in a series of challenges inspired by the series.

This isn’t just a short promo video, as it’s a 17-minute-long adventure featuring Junnie Boy, SB19’s Pablo and Felip, Mika Salamanca, David Licauco, and Myrtle Sarrosa. Netflix invited these Filipino stars to become a crew of their own, taking on challenges like “Pass the Flag” at Logue Town, “Patintero” at Whiskey Peak, and “Pirate Henyo” at the Going Merry; all for the One Piece treasure.

Netflix first shared a teaser for this adventure yesterday, but now, the full video is up on Netflix PH’s official YouTube channel. You can check it out here:

Aside from this special video, Netflix PH also celebrated the release of Season 2 with a special event in BGC, featuring an installation of Laboon and the Going Merry.

This level of promotion makes sense given that the second season of the live-action One Piece series is one of Netflix’s biggest shows of the year. After all, the first season made a massive splash when it was released in 2023. For Season 2, the show is even bigger, and it’s arguably better, thanks to the exciting action and colorful new cast of characters.

One Piece: Into the Grand Line is now streaming worldwide exclusively on Netflix.
