Xiaomi 17 Series makes its global debut

The Xiaomi 17 Series just hit the global market!

Ahead of its Philippine unveiling and a showcase at MWC 2026, the Xiaomi 17 Series officially dropped via official livestream yesterday. Revealed earlier today during Xiaomi’s global livestream, the company has taken the wraps off its most anticipated flagship lineup of the year, and it arrives with a few surprises in tow.

Two models made their global debut: the standard Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Fans hoping to see Pro variants with the Magic Back Screen will be disappointed, as those models have not made the jump to global markets.

On the design front, the standard Xiaomi 17 is available in Black, Blue, Pink, and Green, while the Ultra comes in Starlit Green, White, and Black — giving buyers a solid range of finishes across both tiers.

Both devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and run the latest version of HyperOS, ensuring flagship-grade performance across the board. Camera hardware, as expected, is a central part of the pitch. The standard Xiaomi 17 sports a Leica-tuned triple 50MP system covering primary, ultrawide, and telephoto shooting, along with a 50MP front camera. The Ultra steps things up further with an even more sophisticated Leica camera array built around a large-sensor main camera and a high-resolution periscope telephoto lens.

Pricing starts at €999 for the standard Xiaomi 17, with the Ultra beginning at €1,499. For more information, check out the official website and Facebook page.
