TikTok Shop is set for an influx of new buyers as the tough HONOR Pad X8b comes priced for only Php 9,999 with a free stylus. The launch event held in Makati City featured live demonstrations to prove the tablet’s toughness, including a rigorous arcade hammer challenge and a water drop test, illustrating its resilience for daily use.
These demonstrations were witnessed by key officials including E-commerce Manager AC De Guzman and TikTok Shop Philippines Marketing Lead Franco Aligaen.

With its reliable build, immersive display, and seamless performance, it’s designed to support everyday productivity and entertainment—making reliable tablet experiences more accessible than ever,” said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng.
Crafted from premium and reliable metal, the device balances contemporary style with flagship-grade materials to deliver a look that is both modern and robust. Despite its tough nature, it remains highly portable at a weight of only 499g and an ultra-slim thickness of 7.25mm.
The metal chassis incorporates the latest embedding material technology, resulting in a 90% improvement in overall structural strength. This engineering achievement provides industry-leading performance against drops and pressure, which has been independently verified by Switzerland’s SGS. The device earned both Drop Resistance and Crush Resistance certifications—an industry first—showcasing a 60% increase in drop resistance and a 30% enhancement in both crush and water resistance over previous standards.
The tablet is available in Space Grey and remains a TikTok Shop exclusive, bundled with a free Stylus Pen to enhance productivity for early adopters. During the program, PR Supervisor Denis Santos and Brand Marketing Manager Joepy Libo-on shared insights into how the device is designed to stand up to the demands of everyday life while offering a seamless entertainment experience.
