Following Spain’s win at the 2026 World Cup, one of the winning squad’s members was spotted with the HONOR Robot Phone.
In case you missed it, the Robot Phone was unveiled at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, and it’s a pretty cool smartphone as it packs what is essentially a gimbal, which also houses its impressive main camera. As of now, the phone is still unreleased, but it seems like HONOR is gearing up to launch it soon.
That’s because the phone was spotted recently in the hands of Eric García, one of the members of Spain’s World Cup-winning squad. To be exact, García was seen capturing the post-match celebrations following Spain’s 1-0 win against Argentina in the World Cup Final.
Aside from the images and clips of García holding the Robot Phone after the World Cup final, no photos or videos taken by the unreleased HONOR smartphone were shared. We would’ve liked to see what it has captured, especially given how impressive its cameras are on paper.
For now, HONOR has yet to reveal details about the device, though this unexpected appearance might mean we’ll get launch information soon.
