HONOR Philippines VP shares sneak peek at the new HONOR Robot Phone

Does this mean the Robot Phone will be released in the Philippines?

HONOR PH Vice President Stephen Cheng recently shared a sneak peek at the new HONOR Robot Phone, which was revealed at Mobile World Congress 2026 last month.

In case you missed its reveal, the HONOR Robot Phone is an impressive smartphone that packs a built-in gimbal camera, promising ultra-stable, professional-grade photos and videos. With the gimbal system, the phone should be able to deliver cinematic-style camera movement that’s a clear step above even the highest-end flagships available on the market today.

Aside from the gimbal, the camera itself is also quite promising, as it has a 200MP sensor, which should be able to capture top-notch photos and high-quality videos. Plus, the gimbal system is integrated with HONOR’s latest AI features, enabling it to intelligently follow objects in real time.

Recently, HONOR VP Stephen Cheng showed that he has a Robot Phone unit with him, indicating that there’s a chance the device will be launched in the Philippines.

There’s no official word yet regarding when the HONOR Robot Phone will be available in the PH, but HONOR reps revealed that more details are coming soon via the brand’s official local pages.

If it does get released in the Philippines, it’ll be quite unexpected. After all, many devices like these revealed at MWC are concept phones, meaning they don’t typically get wide releases, as they’re function is only to show off a brand’s latest tech. Thus, serious tech enthusiasts may want to watch out for news on a potential PH launch.
