After its reveal at the “Now Is Your Spark” event in Bangkok, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 is confirmed to launch in the Philippines on May 22.
This new smartwatch lineup consists of the WATCH FIT 5 and WATCH FIT 5 Pro. Both watches have eye-catching designs, with the base FIT 5 model featuring a wide array of colorful strap options. Meanwhile, the FIT 5 Pro should be worthy of its Pro moniker design-wise, thanks to its 1.92-inch 2.5D sapphire glass display, along with a titanium alloy bezel that weighs only 30.4 grams. There’s also a White Edition that’s built with Aerospace-Grade Nanoceramic Metal for extra scratch resistance.
In terms of features, the WATCH FIT 5 Series shouldn’t disappoint, as both models pack comprehensive health management trackers, including continuous pulse wave arrhythmia analysis. This can help uncover hidden risks like premature heartbeats.
The Pro model takes things up a notch with its advanced ECG app, along with the industry-first Diabetes Risk Study. This is a feature that PPG-based vascular signal analysis uses to identify hidden Diabetes risks, without being invasive. While this won’t diagnose Diabetes, it can give early warning signs for users who are at risk, so that they can seek medical consultation ASAP.
For fitness, the WATCH FIT 5 Pro also packs some nifty trackers like the PickleX app. As its name implies, this is an app designed for pickleball, and it tracks how users play using metrics like total racket swings, forehand and backhand shot counts, and more. Plus, it has a “mini-workout” feature that gives individuals with limited time a bunch of quick exercise options.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series is available with exclusive early-bird deals in the Philippines starting today, May 15. Shoppers on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok can get a PHP 1,000 early-bird voucher for the watches.
