Atlus unveils Persona 6 logo and confirms Persona 4 Revival release date

Fingers crossed we get more P6 news soon!

The XBOX Games Showcase 2026 featured some major announcements, with the biggest highlights no doubt being the Persona 6 logo reveal and Persona 4 Revival release date.

While the show opened with a meaty Gears of War: E-Day trailer, it wasn’t long before Persona got the spotlight. Persona 4 Revival’s new trailer was shared fairly early into the showcase, and not only did it feature plenty of new gameplay clips, but it also revealed the game’s February 18, 2027, release date.

Even with just the Persona 4 remake trailer, the XBOX showcase was already an exciting one for JRPG fans. It turns out that P4R wasn’t the only big reveal for them. In fact, it’s fair to say that the next trailer for Atlus at the event was the one to dominate discussions online.

Around mid-way into the show, a cryptic new teaser was revealed, and it ended with the reveal of Persona 6. While there’s no gameplay footage in the teaser, it did give off a rather creepy vibe. Most importantly, though, it revealed the game’s official logo and main color.

The next mainline Persona game being green was something that most fans weren’t surprised by. After all, an anniversary illustration released some years ago featured a green paint bucket, which many fans believed at the time to be a hint at Persona 6. It turned out that was indeed the case.

As for the logo, it has received more of a mixed response. Here’s a look at the P6 logo, compared with the logos of the previous three series entries:

For now, there’s no word on a release date for Persona 6. Given that the teaser was quite short, it likely means we’ll need to wait a while before more launch details are shared. It’s almost certain that P6 won’t launch this year, with many believing that it will be released in late 2027 or 2028 at the earliest.
