SM Supermalls recently kicked off Animezing North 2026 with a big Solo Leveling event at SM North EDSA, and this won’t be the only event of its kind this year.
Over the past few years, SM North EDSA has hosted lots of anime events as part of its Animezing North initiative. In 2025, we saw big events for popular titles like One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen.
This year, Animezing North is back, and the first event in the series is a massive Solo Leveling pop-up at The Block in SM North EDSA. The event opened on July 3, and it is running until July 14. There, fans can experience Solo Leveling exhibits and attractions, as well as purchase exclusive merch. At the various exhibits, fans are invited to arrive in cosplay, as they make for the perfect cosplay photo backdrops.
After the Solo Leveling pop-up, SM Supermalls has more events lined up as part of its Animezing North 2026 initiative. Up next is a Kaiju No. 8 event, which will also happen at The Block from August 3 to 16. Just days after, SM North EDSA will host yet another One Piece event, which is scheduled to run from August 18 to 30. Based on the previous anime events, we expect to see Kaiju No. 8 and One Piece exhibits and merch during the respective pop-ups.
Finally, the mall will host a Pokémon event, happening from December 10, 2026, to January 3, 2027. This will be part of the “Celebrate 30 years of Pokémon at SM Malls” mall caravan, which was announced during the Pokémon 30th Anniversary press conference earlier this week.
