The Amazons of Themyscira stand proud in new “Wonder Woman” still!
With Batman v Superman now opening in theaters this Easter weekend, check out the first look at the Amazons of Themyscira appearing with a younger Diana Prince in the first official photo of the people of Paradise Island from next year's Wonder Woman movie!
As Batman v Superman finally hits theaters and takes the world by storm, fans are now looking forward to the next big event that gathers the heroes together with 2017’s epic superhero film “Justice League”. However, just because we only see a fraction of the heroes unite for the first time in the “DC Trinity” doesn’t mean that we’re lacking in action, and one of the most STELLAR DEBUTS BvS gives fans is Wonder Woman, who’s played by Fast and Furious actress Gal Gadot!
Come 2017, Gadot will be getting her own solo film with the “Wonder Woman” movie set during the WWI period, and it will also introduce the Amazons of Themyscira, including her mother Queen Hippolyta and the rest of Diana’s people in Paradise Island who train her. Entertainment Weekly has the first picture of the Amazons lined up and in proper attire, and via Comic Book Movie.com here’s a look at the cast in full costume!
The Wonder Woman movie, directed by Patty Jenkins, will be released on June 23, 2017!
