Hold on to your Reverse-edged swords everyone! The Battousai will be back in 5 days! And the best part in all of this? You won’t have to wait long for a fansub translation, because there will be a simultaneous English release alongside its Japanese publication!
The news came from Viz Media’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The new arc, titled Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc (or Rurouni Kenshin, Meiji Kenkaku Romantan: Hokkaido-hen) will begin its run on September 4, 2017 and is said to have a total of five arcs! Looks like our old friend Kenshin Himura will be really busy in the coming months!
Along with the news, it has also been confirmed via our friends at Anime News Network, the entirety of the arcs will see western publication. No fan is left behind!
The series creator, Watsuki Kurosaki will be on deck as a story collaborator in the new arc. So it looks like our favorite wandering swordsman is in good hands. I can’t wait to dive in and immerse myself into the fluff once again! Welcome back Kenshin!
