ONE Store Beta Now Available

With the latest Nintendo Direct concluding earlier today, we’re given a peek at Fire Emblem Warriors, the latest installment of the Fire Emblem franchise exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

While the game is set in the same universe as Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Three Hopes is a Musou-style, hack-and-slash game at its core. The story revolves around Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude in what looks to be a spin-off of the original Three Houses continuity.

Nintendo describes this new Fire Emblem game as:

“Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, and other Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters return to put their combat expertise on display as you revisit a war-torn Fódlan.

Unleash devastating combos and striking special moves in action-packed, real-time combat
Cut through hordes of enemies as characters from the Fire Emblem: Three Houses game. Take down dozens of foes with Edelgard’s axe or Dimitri’s lance, or blast enemies from a distance with Claude’s bow. Slash, swing, and spear your way to a brighter future for Fódlan.”

Given it’s a Fire Emblem title with a “Warriors” style of gameplay, I couldn’t be the only one hoping to finally get a chance to date, and possibly defeat Lu Bu. One can only dream for now.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch and is set for release on June 24, 2022.
