After confirming its return earlier this month, Gariath Concepts has finally announced that ESGS 2022 is happening this October at the SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia. Yes, this means ESGS is finally returning as an in-person event!
Over the past two years, ESGS has been happening purely online due to the pandemic. Now, esports fans and gamers can finally enjoy a weekend of gaming goodness. And the best part is, it’s happening from Friday to Sunday and it won’t be shortened to a two-day event.
The in-person return was announced via the event’s official Facebook page. There, specific dates and the venue were revealed.
While there’s no word yet on the activities that are lined up, expect to see esports tournaments and big gaming booths, along with other surprises.
In case you’re unfamiliar, ESGS (or the Esports and Gaming Summit) is one of the Philippines’ biggest gaming events of the year. Over the past couple of years, the event has treated gamers to a lot of fun activities, complete with booths where gamers can try out the latest upcoming titles.
ESGS 2022 is happening on October 28-30, 2022 at the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City. Ticket info and more details will be announced soon.
