Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth gets a meaty new trailer, confirms Hawaii setting
The new Infinite Wealth trailer is nearly 10 minutes long, and it gives us our best look yet at the next mainline Like a Dragon game!
RGG Summit Fall 2023 opened with a bang as a meaty new trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth was released, and it’s nearly 10 minutes long! On top of the lengthy trailer, the game’s January 2024 release date has also been announced.
In this cutscene trailer, lots of new story details have been revealed, including the game’s Hawaii setting as well as why Ichiban Kasuga finds himself there.

This new trailer is definitely an interesting one as it reveals some key story information. For instance, it’s shared that Ichiban will go to Honolulu, Hawaii in search of his mother. Though as expected, his search won’t be smooth sailing as he’ll soon find himself robbed of everything he has.
Also revealed in the trailer is Kiryu who is also in Hawaii. The trailer also reveals that Kiryu’s new hair color is because of cancer which he has been diagnosed with recently. This is also the reason why Kiryu is teaming up with Ichiban instead of handling things on his own.
The party members from Yakuza: Like a Dragon are also returning here. Plus, iconic series characters like Majima, Saejima, and Daigo were also shown, though the extent of their participation isn’t clear.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be released on January 26, 2024, on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Before the game gets released, players can get to play a demo when they buy a copy of Like a Dragon Gaiden this November.
