The Lost Caverns of Ixalan preview card

Time to ramp it up as we preview Magic: The Gathering’s latest set – The Lost Caverns of Ixalan!

We return to a familiar place first experienced back in 2017. The Lost Caverns of Ixalan will be Magic: The Gathering’s last Standard-legal set for 2023 where we explore a Mesoamerican-inspired plane filled with dinosaurs, humans (riding dinosaurs) pirates and merfolk, among other denizens of the plane.

And with that, we get to share another preview card shared to us by our friends from Wizards of the Coast. Take a look at Glimpse the Core.

True to the color, Glimpse the Core is a ramp spell at sorcery speed for 1 and a green that searches for a basic Forest card and putting it to the battlefield tapped. New to the set is a non-basic land type called Caves and Caverns. In the case of Glimpse, it specifically cares for Caves in the graveyard to target and put back to the board.
