Wonka (2023) gets official Philippines cinema release date

Movie fans are in for a treat as Warner Bros. Pictures announced that Wonka (2023) will be released in cinemas in the Philippines this December.

Specifically, the new movie will come to PH cinemas on December 6, 2023 — one week ahead of its US release. This means Filipino moviegoers will be among the first to watch this film!

This new Wonka movie stars Timothee Chalamet as the iconic character from Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If you think he’s a bit young for the role, there’s a good reason for this. Instead of being another adaptation of Dahl’s story, this movie serves as a prequel to the ever-popular sotry.
