Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be free to try beginning in January

Ubisoft recently confirmed that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be free to try on January 11, 2024. This is thanks to the fact that the game will get a free demo alongside its launch.

Along with the game’s upcoming demo, Ubisoft also shared a story trailer for the next Prince of Persia game, giving long-time fans of the series a better idea of what to expect in this upcoming installment.

The game’s free demo will be released one week before The Lost Crown’s official launch. In this demo, players can try out this upcoming platformer for free in case they need more convincing about getting it. After all, it has been a while since Prince of Persia got a fresh new installment.

“Inspired by the Metroidvania genre, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown lets players explore a handcrafted world at their own pace. From the majestic Citadel of Knowledge to the colorful landscapes of the Hyrcanian Forest, players will discover a variety of environments inspired by Persian mythology. By acquiring new time powers, unlocking unique abilities and combining them in combat, Sargon will progressively delve deeper into Mount Qaf, solving puzzles, finding secrets, and completing exciting side quests.”

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on January 18, 2024, for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
