Kaiju No. 8 premieres on Ani-One Philippines this April

The Spring 2024 season is here, and fans can look forward to Kaiju No. 8 which is confirmed to premiere on Ani-One Philippines this April.
Many manga readers have been excited about this anime for nearly two years as this adaptation was announced way back in mid-2022. Finally, the show will be streamed across the world next week.

Kaiju No. 8 is a manga by Naoya Matsumoto that began serialization back in July 2020. In Japan, the series is serialized in Shonen Jump+, the online manga platform where other popular titles like Spy x Family and Dandadan are released.
This series’ story is set in a world, and most especially Japan, is besieged by kaiju. In response, Japan established the Anti-Kaiju Defense Force.
In the series, childhood friends Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro promise to become part of the Defense Force. While Mina becomes a captain in the Defense Force, Kafka fails to even pass the examination, so he becomes part of the kaiju clean-up crew. Though one day, a small kaiju enters Kafka, and he gains the ability to transform into one.
Kaiju No. 8 will be streamed on Ani-One Philippines beginning on April 13, 2024.
