Tekken 8 reveals Lidia Sobieska as the game’s second DLC character
Tekken 8 also revealed its upcoming roadmap, including the new content that players can expect.
At EVO Japan, Tekken 8 revealed its second DLC character, and it’s none other than Lidia Sobieska. Along with Lidia’s reveal, details about the game’s content roadmap were also shared, including the upcoming free updates that players can expect.
Previously, only Eddy Gordo was confirmed to be part of the Season 1 DLC. Now, Lidia is back, and it should delight Tekken 7 fans who mained her. After all, while Lidia was introduced only in Tekken 7 as a Season 4 DLC character, she has made a splash since her launch.
Here’s a look at Lidia in Tekken 8 along with a peek at what to expect in Season 1:
Aside from Lidia, new Season 1 details were revealed. For starters, there are adjustments to the battle system that promise to improve balance and the overall player experience. These updates will roll out this Spring 2024.
Meanwhile, players will also get new additions in Summer 2024, including the “Seaside Resort” stage along with a dedicated Photo Mode. Then in Autumn, players will get a new story that will feature an appearance from Eddy Gordo. This Autumn update will also add modes like Ghost vs. Ghost and Online Practice
Lidia will be available this Summer for players who buy the Season 1 DLC. Currently, there’s no word yet on a specific release date for Lidia.
