Following their smash-hit Talk To Me from 2023, Danny and Michael Philippou return for Bring Her Back, another A24 horror movie that’s confirmed to release in the Philippines this July.
It’s fair to say that Talk To Me was an unexpected hit, as this was the first movie from the Philippou brothers (who were best known as the duo behind the RackaRacka on YouTube). Soon after its release, the film became a massive success, becoming the highest-grossing A24 horror movie.
As such, there’s a lot of excitement for Bring Her Back, the duo’s new supernatural horror film that was again released by A24 in North America. Following its release earlier this month in the US, the movie is finally set to be released in the Philippines next month.
To be exact, Columbia Pictures is distributing Bring Her Back in the Philippines, and the film is set to be released on July 16, 2025.
The movie’s premise is described as:
Bring Her Back tells the tale of a brother Andy (Billy Barratt), and his low-vision sister Piper (Sora Wong) as they enter the care of their new foster mother. Slowly they uncover a terrifying ritual in their new secluded home.
While there’s no official cinema list yet, we expect this movie to get a wide release in the PH. After all, the Philippines is a big market for horror films.
This is also the latest A24 movie to get an official PH theatrical release. As such, here’s hoping that the eventual A24 Elden Ring and Death Stranding adaptations will also get wide releases in the country.
