Nintendo and LEGO have teamed up for this 1:1 scale replica Game Boy model kit, and it’s made entirely out of LEGO bricks.
LEGO is no stranger to gaming collabs. After all, we’ve seen LEGO sets with Fortnite and Sonic the Hedgehog themes, not to mention last year’s LEGO Horizon Adventures game. Nintendo and LEGO have also collaborated on sets for Super Mario and Animal Crossing.
Now though, Nintendo and LEGO have another exciting collaboration. This time, it’s for a Game Boy replica made of LEGOs.
As you can see, this model kit is a surprisingly accurate recreation of the iconic Nintendo handheld (you can even press the buttons), though the D-pad does have the iconic LEGO studs. It even has a piece that mimics the look of a game on the Game Boy’s screen.
If that’s not enough, the set also comes with replica Game Boy cartridges. The first one is a Super Mario Land cartridge, while the other one is The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
Much like the original Game Boy, you can insert these cartridges into this replica. While it won’t actually play games, it does play some sound effects.
The set also comes with three screen pieces in total, with a Super Mario screen as well as a Nintendo Logo option.
This new LEGO Game Boy will be released on October 1, 2025. It will be priced at USD 59.99 or JPY 9,280.
