ONE Store Beta Now Available

Following the game’s announcement back in June at Summer Game Fest 2023, SEGA highlighted details on the Lego collaboration for Sonic Superstars.

While it was revealed previously, SEGA highlighted the collaboration just recently, and it was revealed that the collaboration will feature a Sonic complementary DLC for all players. Meanwhile, there will also be a Dr. Eggman Lego skin, though that will be available for players who pre-order the game or purchase the physical edition early.

Here’s what you can expect in the LEGO and Sonic Superstars collab:

This isn’t the first time that Sonic teamed up with Lego. Back in April, SEGA shared four Sonic The Hedgehog-themed Lego sets that are inspired by the various games in the franchise.

As for the upcoming game, Sonic Superstars is the next upcoming entry in the long-running franchise, and it will feature classic 2D sidescrolling gameplay that longtime fans should enjoy. Though it also features some new features and additions to keep things fresh.

The game’s premise is described as:

“A new adventure begins for Sonic and his pals, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, in the mysterious Northstar Islands, inhabited by gigantic creatures. With your newfound Emerald Powers, stop Dr. Eggman and Fang, who plan to use these creatures for their devious schemes!”

Sonic Superstars will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Fall 2023, though there’s no word yet on an official release date.
