The new realme 16 Series 5G is set to launch soon in the Philippines, and ahead of its official unveiling, realme shared a first look at its new Number Series entry.
For this first look, realme highlighted the design of its latest smartphone line. To be exact, the new realme 16 Series 5G comes with what the brand calls an “Urban Wild Design,” which was created in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. As the name implies, this design concept combines the aesthetics of nature and urban spaces.
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G comes in the signature Master Gold colorway, which is said to evoke a sunlit wheat field. For the Pro+, realme also used a bio-based silicone back panel derived from plant-based straw, making it more durable and resistant to water. Then, there’s the 16 Pro 5G, which comes in Pebble Grey that’s reminiscent of smooth river pebbles.
As for the base realme 16, this phone has a more minimalist “Air” aesthetic, and it’s available in White and Black. Unlike the Pro models, the base version has a horizontal camera strip, where the selfie mirror sits beside the main camera.

Speaking of its cameras, the Pro models promise to elevate the smartphone photography experience with their 200MP Multi-focal Camera system. The Pro and Pro+ feature the impressive 200MP OIS main shooter, with the Pro+ also having a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the base model has a 50MP Sony IMX852 main rear camera and a 50MP front camera.
As a bonus, the lineup also debuts the industry’s first TÜV Rheinland-certified LumaColor Image Camera. With this, colors and lighting of each image are balanced for more vibrant, lifelike shots.

The realme 16 Series 5G will launch in the Philippines on April 23 at 5:30 PM. This launch event will be streamed live on the realme official Facebook channel.
