Hello Kitty Party Land launches on Nintendo Switch this October

Here's another game that Sanrio fans might want to check out.

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently unveiled Hello Kitty Party Land, a new Sanrio game that’s coming to Switch and Switch 2 this October.

Last year saw the release of Hello Kitty Island Adventure, which was a life sim in the vein of Animal Crossing and Pokémon Pokopia. Now, the new Hello Kitty title is a casual party game that’s made for families and friends who love Sanrio. Yes, while this game is titled “Hello Kitty,” most of the popular Sanrio characters are here, including Cinamoroll, Pompompurin, My Melody, Kuromi, Little Twin Stars, and more.

Along with the large roster of Sanrio characters (there are over 145 in total), the game also features dozens of unique mini-games that should make each playthrough feel fresh.

To get a better idea of what to expect, you can check out the game’s announcement trailer here:

As with most party games, Party Land is designed with multiplayer in mind. In the game, up to four players can play locally on one console or through online multiplayer. Of course, players can also play this game solo if they want to practice, or if they simply want to spend time with the adorable Sanrio characters in the game’s massive roster.

Aside from getting to play as Sanrio characters, players can also customize their avatars with hairstyles, outfits, and other items.

Hello Kitty Party Land will be released on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on October 29, 2026.
