This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Super Robot Wars and they have just unveiled a new trailer for their first title in the series to be localized in English, Super Robot Wars OG the Moon Dwellers.
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Super Robot Wars and they have just unveiled a new trailer for their first title in the series to be localized in English, Super Robot Wars OG the Moon Dwellers.
For the uninitiated, Super Robot Wars is a Turn-Based Tactical RPG or Simulation RPG; much like XCom. Older titles have seen the likes of Voltes V, Mazinger Z, Gundam, and many other mecha from our favorite anime fight full scale battles that resulted in hours and hours of fun plus over 9000 nostalgia points.
The game will also introduce the Twin Battle System, which allows individual mechs to form a team called Twin Units. These units will be able to unleash powerful attacks when they are adjacent to each other providing a truly rich combat system.
Super Robot Wars OG the Moon Dwellers by BANDAI ENTERTAINMENT Asia will be released on Playstation 4 this Summer.
