ONE Store Beta Now Available

We got a new Elden Ring story trailer at this year’s The Game Awards 2021 detailing the game’s story mentioning the downfall of the Demigods, their never-ending battle, and the shattering of the titular Elden Ring. All of these are told by the storyteller who then questions the viewers if they’ll take the crown, suggesting such action will put things in order.

Check out the new trailer here:

The three-minute trailer revealed new names of Elden Ring’s characters who already appeared from the E3 2019 first trailer, such as Godwin the Golden, who we can assume to be the one swinging his hammer at the 2019 teaser. We also got the name of the big dude named General Radahn, who possesses the title of the Conquerer of the stars, as well as the blade of Miquella Malenia the Severed whose arm is missing. These two are trapped in an endless battle plunging the world into chaos and turmoil. Margit the Fell Omen also made an appearance on the trailer, leaving a crown on a thrown.

Elden Ring features a story that’s a collaboration between FromSoftware Director Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin — author of Song of Ice and Fire.

Elden Ring will release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 25, 2022.
