    The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild tops Japanese poll on best console games of all time

    In a recent poll by TV Asahi which asked 50,000 respondents on which is the best console games of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild took the top spot, beating out other legendary titles such as Final Fantasy VII, Dragon Quest V, and more.

    Breath of the Wild topping the poll shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given the praise that the game got from both critics and fans alike. Though it is quite surprising to see several newer games at the top 10, including the likes of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Splatoon 2.

    With Breath of the Wild being voted as the best console game in this recent poll, there’s no doubt that it’s upcoming sequel is one of the most anticipated upcoming games. While there’s no release date for the sequel yet, the game is set to release sometime in 2022 according to its E3 2021 trailer.
