WIT Studio will produce a Magic: The Gathering cinematic for Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty

It will release on February 15.

Wizards of the Coast’s top CCG game Magic: The Gathering will soon reveal a special Wit Studio-produced cinematic for the game’s upcoming expansion Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. And the best part in all this is that it will release soon on February 15.

For those unfamiliar, WIT Studio did the animation for Attack on Titan’s first three seasons.

Additionally, the animation will feature a new song from Japanese band Ling Tosite Sigure (Psycho-pass, Tokyo Ghoul OP).

For those who are uninitiated Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming set –  Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty sees the popular card game return to familiar territory that was introduced back in 2004. The original set, heavily inspired by historical Japanese aesthetics featured deities, kami (spirits) ninjas, samurais and even rat-folk. This time around, Neon Dynasty looks to have a more futuristic and cyberpunk feel while still retaining the recognizable art form.

Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty will release February 18, 2022. Pre-release events start at February 10. To find a friendly local game area near you, check out Magic: The Gathering’s store locator here.
