Death Stranding Director’s Cut is now available on PC

After its announcement back in January, Kojima Productions and 505 Games have released Death Stranding Director's Cut on PC.

ONE Store Beta Now Available

After its announcement back in January, Kojima Productions and 505 Games have released Death Stranding Director’s Cut on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. This follows the Director’s Cut release on PS5 back in September 2021.

With the Director’s Cut release, the original version of Death Stranding on PC is no longer available on digital storefronts. This means players who are interested in getting Death Stranding will now only be able to buy the new version. Though for those who have existing copies of the first version, they will be able to download and copy of the game.

Existing owners of Death Stranding will also get an upgrade option for USD 9.99/PHP 489.95. This upgrade gives players access to all the new content and enhancements of the Director’s Cut while keeping their save file. To get the upgrade option, players must have the original version installed on their PC.

Transferring of save files will work similarly to the PS5 version, with players needing to launch the original version of Death Stranding to upload their save files. Thus, it is recommended that player don’t delete the copy of the original game before they are able to transfer save files.
