Modern Warfare III will come in three editions with varying bonuses.

ONE Store Beta Now Available

Following its recent reveal, Activision announced all the editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and the various pre-order benefits of each.

Not to be confused with the 2011 game, Modern Warfare III is the latest entry in the Modern Warfare reboot series. Info about the game was leaked back in July, but now, the game has finally been officially revealed and confirmed to release in November.

Modern Warfare III will come in three editions: the Vault Edition, the Standard Edition, and the Physical Console Editions. These versions will be available on all platforms.

Modern Warfare III: Vault Edition

To start, there’s the Vault Edition which is the biggest version of the game and is priced at USD 99.99. This version comes with a wealth of content, including:

  • Campaign Early Access (Preorder Benefit)
  • Open Beta Early Access (Preorder Benefit)
  • Soap Operator Pack (Preorder Benefit)
  • Nemesis Operator Pack
  • Two Weapon Vaults

The Campaign and Open Beta Early Access are fairly self-explanatory as these will give players a chance to try the game’s campaign and online multiplayer ahead of the official launch (more details below).

This version also comes with two exclusive, the first being the Nemesis Operator Pack which givers owners of the edition our famed Multiplayer Operators. These four Nemesis Operator Skins can be used during the Modern Warfare III Open Beta.

Then, there’s the Two Weapon Vaults which gives owners of the Vault Edition two FATE Weapon Vaults that can be used in the Open Beta and at launch. Each FATE Weapon Vault is a variant of a Modern Warfare III weapon that keeps its cosmetic properties on all associated attachments native to its base platform.

Along with these, pre-ordering the Vault Edition will come with the Soap Operator Pack which instantly unlocks the “Masked Soap” and “Unmasked Soap” Skins, and the “Shadow Siege” Weapon Blueprint. The pack can also be used in Modern Warfare II and Warzone immediately upon pre-order.

Finally, each Vault Edition pre-order will come with Modern Warfare III Season 01 BlackCell includes the following:

  • Access to a MWIII Season Battle Pass, along with 20 Tier Skips from BlackCell (25 on PlayStation®) and the unlocking of up to 1,400 COD Points.
  • An additional 30 Tier Skips for purchasing the Vault Edition. The BlackCell Sector within the Battle Pass Map with a variety of exclusive content, along with immediate unlocking of adjacent Battle Pass Sectors.
  • BlackCell-only Battle Pass content: expect BlackCell Alt Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and more.

Modern Warfare III: Standard Console Cross-Gen and PC Digital Editions

Next, there’s the standard edition (priced at USD 69.99) which comes with the following:

  • Campaign Early Access (Preorder Benefit)
  • Open Beta Early Access (Preorder Benefit)
  • Soap Operator Pack (Preorder Benefit)

Take note that these three will only be available for those who pre-order. Though as the name implies, the PlayStation and Xbox versions of this edition will have cross-gen version options. This means players on PS4/Xbox One don’t need to buy an upgrade if they get a PS5/Series X|S down the line.

Plus, this version of the game lets players upgrade to the Vault Edition for an extra USD 30 charge, as long as they upgrade within the same platform (PlayStation, Xbox, Battle.net, or Steam).

Modern Warfare III: Physical Console Editions, Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Edition

Rounding out the Modern Warfare III game editions is the physical version that will be available on the following platforms:

  • PlayStation 5: Physical Edition next-generation version (does not include PlayStation 4 version of Modern Warfare III).

This special version of the physical release comes with an animated emblem, sticker and calling card. Plus, each purchase of this version allows players to donate to the Endowment which helps veterans find careers outside the military.

Take note though, there will be no physical version of the game for PC.
