ESGS 2023 is happening this weekend: Here’s what you can expect

ESGS 2023 begins tomorrow, and here's what you can expect at this year's event!

ONE Store Beta Now Available

After much anticipation, ESGS 2023 finally begins tomorrow, meaning gamers can enjoy three days of exciting activities and events.

ESGS (or the Esports and Gaming Summit) is one of the Philippines’ biggest gaming events of the year, and it features lots of activities for gamers to enjoy. Unlike the ESGS events of previous years though, this year’s event will happen at the World Trade Center in Manila.

Despite the change in venue, Pinoy gamers can still expect a fun weekend of games and more. For more of what to expect, here’s a quick rundown of what to see and do at this year’s summit:

Lots of game demos to try

One of the highlights of any ESGS event for us are the various game demos that attendees can try out. This year’s event is no different as there will be lots of upcoming games to try.

For starters, SEGA will attend the event with an exciting lineup of games. These include Like a Dragon: Gaiden, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Persona 5 Tactica, and Persona 3 Reload.

Then there’s Bandai Namco whose headline title for ESGS 2023 is Tekken 8, the highly anticipated next installment in the long-running fighting game series.

That’s not all though as there are lots of other gaming booths that will delight players, including PlayStation, Riot Games, and more.

The latest in tech to be showcased

Along with games, the latest gaming tech will also be showcased at ESGS 2023. For instance, ASUS ROG will show off the ROG Ally, as well as other exciting tech.

Also appearing at the event with booths are Lenovo Legion which will show off their latest gaming machines that are powered by 13th Gen Intel Core H series processors. MSI will also be there with a booth which will showcase a full range of MSI Gaming Motherboards, Graphics Cards, and others.

Other tech brands at the event include Samsung, LG, TECNO Mobile, and JBL Quantum.

Content creators and cosplayers galore

One of the most fun parts of any gaming event is seeing your favorite content creators, and ESGS 2023 is no exception to this. That’s because the event has a huge lineup of guests, including the popular streamer Spicyuuu.

There will also be lots of popular local content creators, as well as notable cosplayers. Not only will they be there roaming the halls, but they’ll also participate in a bunch of activities on stage.

More booths and showcases to see

ESGS 2023 will have a ton of booths not only for games and tech, but also for various gaming-related interests.

For starters, there’s the Cosplay Village that will feature a cosplay contest and meet and greets. There will also be the Indie Fest which will showcase some exciting independently-developed titles from the Philippines.

Gamers who want to get into the industry will also enjoy the theĀ Gaming Class which will feature speakers from Ubisoft Philippines, Keywords Studios and more.

Of course, esports will continue to be a big part of the event as there are tournaments for Valorant, League of Legends, and more.

Finally, the ESGS Marketplace will treat fans to various goodies from artists.
