Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent mobile game to release in SEA this December

The new mobile game Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is officially coming to SEA this December.

To be exact, this new Octopath Traveler game for smartphones will launch in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia on December 7, 2023. The game’s SEA version will feature English and Traditional Language options, along with a Japanese dub.

Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler series has become quite popular in recent years thanks to its decidedly retro JRPG style, albeit with modern flourishes. With Champions of the Continent, players who don’t have a Switch can enjoy a similar experience. This new series entry features a similar turn-based JRPG gameplay system with the series’ other hallmarks.

For those who can’t wait to play the game, Champions of the Continent is available now for pre-registration via the App Store, Google Play platform, or the game’s official website. Pre-registering can give players the following bonuses (if enough registrations are reached):

Champions of the Continent features the similar 2D pixel mixed with 3D of the Switch games, and it’s even made in UE4. Though this new entry is a free-to-play title. Despite being a mobile game, Champions of the Continent promises to deliver a full JRPG experience.
