After the Philippine qualifiers which began in July of this year, the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals is scheduled in Manila this January.
Specifically, the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals will happen from January 13 to 14, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. There, twenty-six (26) teams from across the Asia Pacific region will face off in Valorant.
Aside from competing for glory, teams will also face off to get the lion’s share of the USD 100,000 prize pool. In the tournament, the winning team will take home USD 65,000. Meanwhile, the second-place winner will get USD 20,000. Finally, third and fourth-place winners will receive USD 7,500.
“Predator League is our commitment to further building the gaming community in APAC. We are excited to bring the Asia Pacific Predator League to Manila, which has one of the biggest esports fanbases,” said Manuel Wong, Managing Director at Acer Philippines.
This upcoming tournament was highlighted during a media event in the Philippines to hype up the event’s finale this January.
Esports fans in the region will likely already be familiar with the Asia Pacific Predator League as it has been showing off the region’s talented teams and players since 2018. Over the years though, the Predator League featured a wide range of games, and now Valorant is the title that’s being highlighted given the game’s popularity in the FPS scene.
