At Anime Expo 2026, Crunchyroll and Aniplex revealed Solo Leveling: Beyond the System, an upcoming anime movie.
This new anime film is a direct continuation of the series, and it will follow the events shortly after the finale of Season 2 (aka Arise from the Shadows). As such, this is a proper follow-up to Season 2, and it won’t just be a compilation film like 2024’s Solo Leveling ReAwakening.
To go along with the announcement, a new teaser key visual was shared that highlighted the movie’s official English title. Along with the new visual and title, no other details about the Solo Leveling movie have been revealed.

It’s fair to say that Solo Leveling has become one of the biggest anime in recent years, with its second season in particular getting a lot of attention thanks to its memorable action scenes. Given the show’s popularity, it’s no surprise that a movie is now in the works, as this is a big trend right now for popular anime. After all, we’ve seen hit titles like Chainsaw Man and Demon Slayer get proper movies that serve as follow-ups to their respective shows.
In case you missed it, a Solo Leveling live-action project is also in the works from Netflix, and it’s confirmed to star Byeon Woo-seok as Sung Jin-woo.
