Razer becomes the Official Esports Partner of Gamescom Asia 2020

Gamescom Asia may be more than a year away but the amount of anticipation for the milestone event is already quite high! Gamescom is one of the biggest gaming events in the world and is held annually at Cologne, Germany. Having an Asian version for the very first time, Gamescom Asia will be happening on October 15-18, 2020 at Singapore as is expected to have over 30,000 trade and public visitors. It looks as if brands are already taking notice as a Memorandum of Understanding has just been signed between Koelnmesse (the event organizer) and Razer formalizing the latter as Gamescom Asia’s Official Esports Partner!

As the Official Esports Partner, Razer will be working with Koelnmesse to organise and curate the event’s esports and gaming zone. Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Pte Ltd. says that “This partnership is the perfect opportunity to bring a unique consumer experience to Gamescom Asia, and we are excited to have Razer on-board as our first official esports partner. Together, we will scale-up the playing field for the gaming industry in the region.”
